Profile
The Nashville Farmers’ Market (NFM) is a nationally recognized farmers’ market, international food hall and garden center open 7 days a week in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. We’re not just Music City — we are a great food city, with a bounty of farmers supplying local and regional food to our community. The NFM dates back to the 1800s, when farmers traded their goods where the Davidson County Courthouse now stands. Formerly called the “City Market,” we operated in the Ben West Building 1937-55 after the courthouse was built, and then moved to an outdoor market on Jefferson Street 1955-95. The Market now spans 12 acres along Rosa Parks Boulevard right next to Bicentennial Mall State Park, and includes three retail areas including the Market House, Farm Sheds and Garden Center.
The Market serves as a hub for farmers, food entrepreneurs, artisans, small businesses and start ups, and we invite you to explore, discover, taste and enjoy all that our diverse, growing community has to offer.Photos
